WHAT IS GOOD IN ONE SOCIETY,AGE,PATTERN OR CULTURE MAY BE VICIOUS IN ANOTHER..ONE MAN'S MEAL IS ANOTHER MAN'S POISON..WHAT IS CONSIDERED GOOD IN WESTERN SOCIETY IS HARD TOLERATED IN OUR INDIAN SOCIETY..WHAT IS GOOD IN ONE PROFESSION CANNOT BE ACCEPTED IN ANOTHER..A MAN IS EXPECTED TO BE BOLD AND COURAGEOUS WHERE AS HUMILITY AND POLITENESS ARE THE ORNAMENT OF A WOMAN..
CONCRETE STEPS.
MINIMISE THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN PARENTS AND THE DAUGHTERS..MINIMISE THE IMBALANCE IN THE EDUCATION LEVELS OF BOYS AND GIRLS..EMPOWERMENT OF GIRLS IS THE BASIC NECESSITY..WE MUST PUT THE PERFECT IDEAS ABOUT HOW TO USE THE MODERN TECHNOLOGY AND HAVE THE FRIENDS IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION OTHER THAN STOPPING THEM TO HAVE USAGE OF THEM..MOTIVATE THEM TO EXPRESS FREELY AND AVOID PEER PRESSURE..NEED TO CONVINCE THEM THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE WESTERN AND INDIAN CULTURE..DEMOCRACY IS NOT A STATE IN WHICH PEOPLE ACT LIKE SHEEP..UNDER DEMOCRACY , INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY OF OPINION AND ACTION IS JEALOUSLY GUARDED..WE ALL ARE EQUAL AND SHOULD HAVE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY FROM FREEDOM OF ACTION..

Safety: Last priority in garment units?
By Express News Service - BANGALORE 26th November 2012 10:48 AM

Fire safety standards in most garment manufacturing units in the State are far from satisfactory. In fact, most of the workers in more than 800 registered garment manufacturing units in the state are not even kept in the loop about safety measures and emergency situations.
The Fire Services Department officials said that these firms do not even obtain no objection certificates (NOC) which is mandatory before starting any industry.
A majority of these units do not have signboards and proper exits. Many workers employed in prime industrial areas like Bommanahalli and Mysore Road grapple with just one entry and exit point in the building.
Deepa, a member of a Garment Workers Union, said that some of these units have only one door, leave alone emergency exits.
“Units which have more than 500 workers need multiple entry and exit points. But many small units located in New Timber Yard Layout, and Nayandahalli on Mysore Road and in Peenya do not follow standards,” Deepa observed.
“Even if they do have a door meant for emergencies, they are not marked properly.” She added that managements also do not train workers on how to act when fire breaks out in the building.
When contacted, the Fire Department officials said that garment factory owners are rarely approach them for guidance on fire safety measures. Most of them do not obtain NOCs before setting up factories, they claimed.
“The buildings which are more than 15 meters tall from the ground are considered high-rise buildings and they have to obtain no-objection certificates from Fire and Emergency Services Department compulsorily. But most garment units are set up in buildings that have ground and first floor and have only fire extinguishers,” B G Chengappa, Director, Karnataka State Fire and Emergency Services, said. While these units have mounds of combustible materials like fabrics, cut pieces, cotton, thread and accessories stored on every floor, fire extinguishers are not regularly recharged and maintained.
Sajjan Raj Mehta, former President of Karnataka Hosiery and Garment Association, said that smaller, unregistered garment units tend to compromise on the safety guidelines to cut costs.
Mehta said, “Many smaller units are not even audited, especially those employing 300-500 workers. They ignore these aspects just to save money and have no regard for the welfare of workers.”
However, company managements insist that they do follow the safety norms. Jitendra Dugar, CEO of Go Go International Private Limited, said all the stipulated safety measures have been taken by organised firms which employ thousands of people.

WILL GOVERNMENT CONSIDER SELLING THE BAN ON SELLING BANANA TREES IN THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT ?
BBMP CAN CONSIDER THE BAN ON SELLING THE BANANA TREES IN THE CHIKPET AREA AS THE GARBAGE PROBLEM EXISTS AND EXTRA BAGGAGE OF THOUSANDS OF HUGE BANANA TREES BEING DECORATED AND FINALLY BEING DUMPED WILL CREATE A HUGE GARBAGE WHICH WILL TOO TOO TOUGH FOR THE MANAGEMENT TO HANDLE....PARTICIPATION AND MOTIVATION OF EACH CITIZEN IS CRUCIAL AS ONLY BBMP CAN'T DO ALL...CONSIDERING THE CURRENT SCENARIO OF GARBAGE MANAGEMENT ,WE NEED TO SAFEGUARD AND TAKE EXTRA CARE TO AVOID AND SUPPORT THE GOVERNMENT AGENCIES..
INCLUDE THE RESIDENTIAL AND TRADE ORGANISATION TOO TO HELP AND PROSPER BETTER..HOPE THE WISDOM PREVAILS..
Thanks a lot..

EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITIES OF REDUCING THE CONFLICTS
EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITIES OF REDUCING THE
CONFLICTS
It is the decision of PM directing Karnataka to release 9 thousand cusacs of water from Cauvery to Tamil Nadu followed by SC directive to follow the PM order forced Karnataka to abide by the decision which is inflicting death blow to the farmers and which has greatly affected the drinking water problem of Bangalore city ..each citizen has extended its full support to the bundh called by the Kannada organisation on 6th Oct. ENTIRE TRADE COMMUNITY IN CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT WERE KIND ENOUGH TO SUPPORT WILLINGLY ON FRIDAY TOO..The message to the central govt should be loud and clear we should not be taken for granted ..what we need is a amicable settlement alike between RAJASTHAN AND HARYANA on the same water sharing issue..
IF INDIA IS TO BE KEPT INTEGRATED, SEVERAL OBJECTIVES REQUIRE TO BE ADDRESSED WHILE PLANNING FOR RIVER WATER RESOURCES..INDIA IS A FEDERAL DEMOCRACY AND BECAUSE RIVERS CROSS STATES BOUNDARIES ,CONFLICTS OF SHARING OF WATERS ARE A PERSISTENT PHENOMENON.WE MUST CONTINUE TO EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITIES OF REDUCING THE CONFLICTS IF NOT COMPLETELY ELIMINATING THEM..MEDIA HAS A IMPORTANT ROLE TO PLAY AND OUR SUPPORT CAN BE TAKEN AS GRANTED....
Thanks a lot..

७.संविधानिक संस्था C .A .G.

A fortnight after the waste disposal crisis hit Bangalore, and a week after BBMP commissioner Rajneesh Goel took over, the metro has turned into Garbage City. Our photographers capture the festering mess on Wednesday
10.30am Gandhinagar
Gandhinagar constituency, part of the extended business hub of Chickpet and Majestic areas, was chosen for zero-waste management in 2009. Businessman Sajjan Raj Mehta points out that the stench virtually chases shoppers out of Mamoolpet and Arcot Srinivasachar Street in Chickpet. "We need a permanent solution for the garbage menace. It affects our business, especially when it rains, as the dirt gets mixed with rain water and blocks drains," Mehta says.

Garbage pile and students’ bag of woes
Garbage pile and students’ bag of woes
Published: Monday, Sep 3, 2012, 14:20 IST
By Y Maheswara Reddy | Place: Bangalore | Agency: DNA
About 200 schoolchildren are finding it difficult to eat or study. Some even complain of skin allergy.
The culprit is the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) which hasconverted a vacant space behind government higher primary school building in Mamulpet into a garbage collection point.
Students keep their noses covered as they cautiously step on the garbage spilled on to the road while entering and exiting the building.
Apart from accommodating a government higher primary school, the building also houses a government higher primary school shifted from Sultanpet due to Metro work.
These schools are situated on the first and second floors of the building while the ground floor is rented out to various businesses.
The residents and shop owners dump garbage near the building causing inconvenience to students. The teachers keep the windows closed to avoid the stench emanating from the garbage.
“It is inconvenient for us to take the food being served to us in this foul atmosphere,’’ said Shailaja N, a seventh grader.
Most of the students hail from nearby slums and other backward areas. A few of them try to avoid attending classes on some pretext.
“I’ve been suffering from skin allergy due to the unhygienic condition here,’’ said a student on the condition of anonymity.
Expressing displeasure over the BBMP’s failure to regularly clear the garbage, Sajjan Raj Mehta, former president of Karnataka Hosiery and Garments Association, said students face health risk due to the unhygienic atmosphere near the school.
“It is pity to see students here. Pedestrians and two-wheeler riders are also finding it tough to use this road. I hope the BBMP authorities do the needful to keep this place free from garbage for the benefit of the students and businessmen,’’ said Mehta. Teachers say the atmosphere is not conducive to conduct classes but they cannot afford to take up the issue with higher authorities.
“Besides garbage, sound pollution from atemple under construction also prevents us from focusing on teaching. This is not the suitable location for a school. The devotees of a particular temple use loudspeakers to chant mantras and sing bhajans. We can’t afford to complain against them,’’ said a teacher on the condition of anonymity.

Intermittent moderate to heavy rainfall in the city , paralysing routine and commercial activities and submerging roads and streets, exposing the ineffectiveness of the city government’s rain emergency plan. The city’s infrastructure crumbled under the 2 hours rain. A flood-like situation was witnessed on major roads, with the city’s drainage and sewerage systems unable to withstand the onslaught of heavy showers. Many areas were resultantly gridlocked, and citizens struggled till late night to make it home due to sparse public transport or their vehicles breaking down.
Heavy rains lashed several areas such as Central business district,Chickpet,Chamrajpet & Majestic areas & other areas too but worst affected due to lack of basic ammenties were these areas..It is better that civic authorities get alert before any major disaster takes place & scientific drainage system and garbage collection system is extended to these areas as well.
.Let us prey that BBMP will take care of the griem situation in the Old Bangalore City othewise we will switch on the warning antennas..
Hope necessary measures will be taken..
THANKS A LOT..

POLICE OPPOSE BBMP’s plans for Freedom Park
Say Proposed Parking Lot And Palike Bazaar Will Only Create More Problems
MK Madhusoodan & Sunitha Rao R | TNN
Bangalore: Police are furious with the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) for its grandiose plans to construct a Palike Bazaar and an underground parking lot at Freedom Park. They have been allowing protests and demonstrations at Freedom Park, after similar events at the Palace Grounds threw traffic in the vicinity out of gear and drew public ire.
Police fear the proposed projects at Freedom Park will result in an acute space crunch. “We’ve been allowing smaller public meetings and demonstrations or protests at Bannappa Park on KG Road near Cauvery Bhavan and Mahatma Gandhi statue on MG Road. There’s no other place for larger gatherings except Freedom Park where managing and regulating traffic and parking is easier. Once this space is taken over by a parking complex and Palike Bazaar, things will turn topsy-turvy,” a police officer said.
In any case, BBMP’s project implementation record is dismal. Its schemes usually deviate from original plans and are timeconsuming, he added.
BBMP engineer-in-chief BT Ramesh said the multi-level car parking will come up behind the Freedom Park and not in the front portion where protests are held. “Construction work on this facility will not eat into protesters’ space. The car parking is coming up on 2 acres in the rear section,” he said.
On the proposed Palike Bazaar, Ramesh said there has been no official confirmation on the project which was announced in the budget.
Mayor D Venkatesh Murthy, who was impressed by the famed Palika Bazaar in New Delhi, announced in last week’s civc budget that a similar Palike Bazaar would be constructed behind Freedom Park, and earmarked Rs 5 crore for it.
However, a BBMP official admitted the bazaar would only trigger more problems. “How can we take away green space for construction of a commercial complex like Palike Bazaar? It’s yet to be finalized. There'll be massive public opposition to the proposal,’’ he said.
TIMES VIEW
Police objection to BBMP’s plans for an underground parking lot and a shopping complex is understandable, and hopefully the civic agency will heed the objection. The city’s residents need some place where they can organize protests without disrupting traffic and causing gridlocks. In any case, Freedom Park is one of the last remaining lung spaces in the city and these proposed projects will eat into this green space. BBMP must relook at its plans and leave this place alone.
QUOTE UNQUOTE Freedom Park is the ideal place in this area for various cultural, religious, social, sports, national integration and protests. If it gets converted into a commercial complex and parking facility, Bangaloreans will certainly miss this space. BBMP must call for a meeting of resident welfare associations and traders before proceeding with this plan. Sajjan Raj Mehta | FKCCI MEMBER
Freedom Park has historical significance in Bangalore. The trend of using parks for building parking facilities and complexes is increasing and that's bad. If BBMP wants to have a Palike Bazaar, why can't it use one floor of its Utility Building or even space in the malls it has leased out? We will oppose this decision.

THE IDEA DOESN’T IMPRESS: Cops fear the project will lead to acute space crunch. There is no other place for large gatherings except Freedom Park where managing traffic and parking are easier, they say

TO,
THE COMMISSIONER,
BBMP
BANGALORE..
RESPECTED SIR,
SUB; FREEDOM PARK NEEDS BETTER TREATMENT TO DECONGEST OUR CITY
WE ARE THANKFUL TO YOU FOR THE EXCELLENT BUDGET AND SALUTE YOUR VISION TO DECONGEST THE CITY..BBMP IS REGULARLY HELPING US TO HANDLE THE CRUCIAL SITUATIONS AND WE HOPE IT WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO..WE APPRECIATE THE MEASURES BEING TAKEN BY BBMP UNDER YOUR DYNAMIC LEADERSHIP TO GLORIFY THE BANGALORE ON THE WORLD MAP..TO-GETHER WE CAN, WE WILL..
FREEDOM PARK IS BEING CHOOSEN BY BBMP TO HAVE A STRUCTURE ALIKE PALIKE BAZAR IN DELHI WITH 400 UNDERGROUND SHOPS AND GARDEN ON TOP..WHAT WE FEEL THAT AS MANTRI MALL IS JUST A KILOMETER AWAY,NATIONAL,SUKHSAGAR COMPLEX.BURMA BAZAR,HONGKONG BAZAR AND ALANLAR PLAZA JUST WITHIN 300 METRES RADIUS , SITUATION IN THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT IS TOO TOO TIGHT AND PALIKE BAZAR WILL ADD TO IT.EXISTING DRAINAGE SYSTEM,NARROW ROADS, ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR THAT...IT WILL BE BETTER IF THE K.R.MARKET IN THE CITY IS CONVERTED AND UPGRADED AS PREVAILING CONDITIONS ARE WORST THERE.OPINION OF OUR MPS,MLAS,CORPORATORS CAN BE ARRANGED..
ANOTHER REASON WE WILL LIKE TO MENTION IS THAT FREEDOM PARK IS THE ONLY IDEAL PLACE IN THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT TO ORGANISE VARIOUS CULTURAL,RELIGIOUS,SOCIAL,SPORTS & NATIONAL INTEGRATION ACTIVITIES AND IF GET CONVERTED TO A COMMERCIAL COMPLEX,CITIZENS OF BANGALORE WILL BE MISSING THE PLACE A LOT..WHAT WE SUBMIT HUMBLY IS THAT BEFORE COMING TO THE FINAL DECISION,KINDLY CALL THE RESIDENT,TRADE AND WELFARE ASSOCIATIONS TO HAVE A FRUITFUL DIALOGUE AND PROCEED FURTHER.
THE TRADITIONAL ROLE OF BBMP HAD BEEN ONE OF PROVIDING BASIC AMENITIES OF CIVIC LIFE,SOUND FINANCIAL PRACTICES,ACHIEVED THROUGH BETTER MANAGEMENT OF EXISTING ASSETS AND EXTENSIVE USAGE OF APPROPRIATE TECHNOLOGIES AND ABOVE ALL IF YOU CONSIDER THE TRUE OPINIONS OF THE CITIZENS....SIR..WE WANT A SOCIETY WHERE PEOPLE ARE FREE TO MAKE CHOICES,TO MAKE MISTAKES,TO BE GENEROUS AND COMPASSIONATE..IT IS WHAT WE MEAN BY A MORAL SOCIETY ..
HOPE AND TRUST YOU WILL CONSIDER OUR REQUEST...
AWAITING YOUR FRUITFUL REPLY AND ACTION...THANKS A LOT IN ANTICIPATION...

State erupts into protests against petrol price hike
STAFF REPORTER
SHARE · PRINT · T+
The petrol price hike, coming as a rude shock to commuters, evoked anger that translated into public protests, with many organisations calling for a rollback in prices.
Bruhat Bangalore Petrol, Diesel, Cooking Gas Consumer's Forum condemned the hike and expressed concern at the possibility of a similar hike in diesel and cooking gas rates.
Similarly, local Bharatiya Janata Party units, the Kannada Chaluvali Vatal Paksha and the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) held protests against the Union government and pressed for an immediate rollback.
Calling the hike “anti-people”, the Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist) (SUCI-C) held several protests across the State.
Centre targeted
The target of all the anger was the Union government. From “Revenge is to vote for a change during the 2014 elections” to cartoons equating a litre of petrol to expensive gifts, social media networks were aflutter with disapproving chatter about the price hike.
‘Inefficiency'
Sajjan Raj Mehta, member of the State Taxes Committee, Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI), blamed the steep hike squarely on the inefficient handling of inflation by the United Progressive Alliance government at the Centre.

ABNORMAL HIKE AS A GIFT IN PETROL PRICES ON EVE OF UPA GOVT'S 3 YEARS
Inflation is an economic situation which occurs when the prices you get look good and prices you pay look awful. The United Progressive Alliance government had miserably failed to check the skyrocketing prices of food articles and other essential commodities like petrol.diesel & milk products during these years..Government fighting inflation is like the mafia fighting the crime these days. Our present economy is in terrible shape. There is one thing we can all say that inflation-it has completely eliminated the generation gap-we are all crying like babies. There is a vast difference between growth and inflation.Inflation has created a new law of gravity-what goes up gets us down..Trying to curb the inflation by reducing subsidies or raising the taxes is like giving a drunk another drink to sober him up.Increasing taxes to stop inflation makes about as much sense as fanning a fire to cool its heat. How much better off we all would be if quality or equality of living were inflated instead of prices. Thanks to the inflation or dearness we are suffering,it is costing more than ever to live beyond our means. With food, rent, petrol and gas prices so high, when you balance the budget, there is nothing left to budget the balance.
.
Hope & trust that effective governing will be on the agenda of the UPA GOVT otherwise warning antennas needs to be on for them.
THANKS A LOT.

Downpour, fallen trees put brakes on traffic
TIMES NEWS NETWORK
Bangalore: Heavy showers on Saturday evening left many areas in the city waterlogged. The most affected were parts of south Bangalore and Sarjapur, with many trees falling and an overflowing Belandur lake.
The city received 41.2mm of rainfall till 8.30pm, as the maximum temperature dropped to 31 degrees Celsius. The city’s minimum temperature was recorded at 21.1 degrees Celsius.
BBMP officials said six trees were uprooted due to heavy rains in south Bangalore. Bull Temple Road, Hanuman Nagar, Kamakya, Nagendra Block were blocked because of uprooted trees, while houses were inundated in Katriguppe and Okalipuram slum. BBMP’s disaster management vehicle, Prahari, were sent to these places to clear the huge branches and trunk, which hauled up traffic.
Sarjapur Road was affected, not due to heavy rain but because of man-made mistakes. Palash Gurjar, a software engineer, and resident of Suncity Apartments near Belandur lake, said: “Our colony houses 5,000 apartments and the drainage system leads to Belandur lake. The drainage pipe is choked and has resulted in waterlogging. The stretch around the lake is filled with 5 feet of water and vehicles are unable to ply. We complained to BBMP commissioner, corporator, MLAs, but it has fallen on deaf ears. We are helpless.”
Sajjan Raj Mehta, former president, Karnataka Hosiery & Garment Association, said, “First, the rain, and then, we are dealing with a complete power cut since 7pm.”
Meanwhile, the Met department predicted moderate to heavy rainfall for the next two days. “The pre-monsoon season has set in and we can expect regular showers now,” said an official. The maximum temperature is likely to remain around 32 degrees Celsius and Bangaloreans can expect a pleasant weekend ahead.
MAYOR CRACKS THE WHIP
Mayor D Venkatesh Murthy cracked the whip on erring BBMP engineers on Saturday evening. While on a surprise round with deputy mayor L Srinivas, Murthy suggested the suspension of three engineers who stayed away from BBMP control room. The engineers are R Jagannath (AEE ward 99), KN Krishnamurthy (AE town plan) and H Ravindranath (AE Town plan).

JAIN COMMUNITY'S ROLE IN PEACE,EDUCATION AND SERVICE WITH BUSINESS
JAIN COMMUNITY'S ROLE IN PEACE,EDUCATION AND SERVICE WITH BUSINESS
Business is in their blood. Peace is their badge. The combination makes the Jains an extraordinary community in India. They follow the tenets of Lord Mahaveera and other Teerthankaras. The Jains are spread all over the country. The secret of their success lies in their adaptability. The place they move into becomes their home. They imbibe the local culture and tradition without losing touch with their own. Today their presence in businesses such as textiles, silk, jewellery exports and steel trade is substantial. Their role in stock exchanges is often dominant.Perhaps, it’s their seemingly obvious ‘business-only’ approach to social life that has left them apparently deprived in politics. Men in power know that Jains rarely take to demonstrative protests and in any case, their numbers don’t seem to matter in today’s pattern of electoral politics. Their interest in trains seems to be an exception. Occasionally, the community in Karnataka comes up with demands for trains to Rajasthan with stops at various towns of importance to the community. Two new trains were introduced last year.
Jains involvement in social activities is another matter. The Jain organisations in Chennai, Bangalore and Coimbatore are notable for their community work. The beneficiaries of these activities are mostly people from other communities. In Karnataka, organisations like Jain Yuva Sangathan, Jain Youth Association, Jain Youth Federation, Rajasthan Youth Association,Bhagwaan Mahaveer Jain College,B B U L Jain Vidyalaya,Bhagwaan Mahaveer Jain Hospital and Karnataka Marwari Youth Federation are engaged in charitable activities of all kind. They hold free camps for eye check-up, for giving away artificial limbs (Jaipur foot) and for donating school books to needy children. These organisations have also adopted some government and corporation schools for general assistance.
Generally speaking, Jains are economically well placed. One reason for this is that most of the successful entrepreneurs in the community would willingly lend a helping hand to those who are in need of such support. In any case, as far as the governments go, Jains are a minority. (They are around15 million worldwide. In Karnataka alone, they are as small as about 7 lakhs, and there are about 40 lakh followers of Jainism in the four major cities of Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Delhi.) Benefits meant for minorities are available to Jains. But there are many instances where Shwetambars have not accepted such benefits.
Jains have clearly recognised the need to excell in education as much as in business. This is evident from the fact that they have recently formed the Federation of Jain Educational Institutions of India to give shape to their ideas and dreams. There is, however, one member of the community whose initiatives in Karnataka has made a difference to the state as a whole. Veerendra Hegde, the Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, a famous piligrim centre in Dakshina Kannada district is in many ways a very special kind of person. Though a Jain himself, Hegde has been administering a Hindu temple where the presiding deity is Lord Manjunatha. Parts of Karnataka have well-known colleges of higher education and hospitals which came up because of Hegde’s efforts. The excellence of his institutions and indeed the quality of his leadership have attracted the admiration of people from all walks of life, including academics, economists and thinkers.
The one-thousand pillared Basadi at at Moodbidri in Dakshina Kannada district, also known as the Jain Kashi of the South, towering statute of Gomateshwara in Karkala, three Basadis and a Jain mutt in Narasimharajapura and the famous Jain temple of Parshwanatha-Padmawati at Humcha in Shimoga, apart from Bahubali in Shravanabelagola are historic landmarks in Karnataka. A massive Jain temple alike FAMOUS PALITANA IN GUJARAT is coming up at Devanahalli, near to the international airport in Bangalore..
WE STRONGLY BELIEVE IN LIVE AND LET LIVE ..WE STRONGLY SUPPORT THE NOBLE CAUSE OF "SAVE WATER AND RAIN WATER HARVESTING SYSTEM" OF OUR GOVERNMENT..WE FEEL THAT WATER IS PRECIOUS AND NEED TO SPEND IT WISELY..OUR ORGANISATION WILL MOTIVATE ONE AND ALL TO SAVE WATER THROUGH A SCIENTIFIC CAMPAIGN..

Benefits meant for minorities are available to Jains.

APPARREL INDUSTRY FOR LIFTING EXCISE .NEWS IN FASHION UNITED.COM ON 8.2.12.
Wednesday, 08 February 2012
Last year after the government imposed 10 per cent excise duty on branded apparels, brands holders had to increase product prices and that negatively affected the growth of the apparel retail. Since consumers tightened their purse strings due to signs of global slowdown and high product rates. In a letter to Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Karnataka Hosiery & Garment Association and Taxation Committee Chairman Sajjan Raj Mehta has appealed for its withdrawal, keeping in mind the continued impact in the New Year.
Apparel industry is the second largest job provider with the sector employing nearly 2.5 crore people in India. With the excise impact, small manufacturing units had to shut shop resulting in mass unemployment. According to the industry players, government has been playing a double game, on one hand, it has opened up garment imports at zero import duty from Bangladesh and on the other, it has levied excise duty on domestic garment labels. The apparel industry players are still reeling under the worst impact of excise, high raw material costs, low buying and high inventories coupled with slowdown in the Western countries.

Indian Hosiery Industry – corrective measures needed for its survival
Indian Hosiery Industry – corrective measures needed for its survival
This is in continuation to our letter of last month and numerous other representations made
to you regarding the difficulties faced by Indian hosiery industry due to imposition of 10.3%
Mandatory Excise Duty on Branded Readymade Products. The matter has further worsened
with the allowance of duty free import of readymade garments / hosiery products from
Bangladesh.
We from the KARNATAKA HOSIERY AND GARMENT ASSOCIATION have been
continuously writing about the fledging problems and seeking your kind attention on the above
two issues which has had a severe damaging effect on the Indian hosiery industry. It has not
only led to continuous slowdown, loss of businesses – but has also resulted in many players
having shut down their enterprises due to lack of opportunities coupled with mounting cost of
production, growing pressure on their capital investment among others.
The Government must take a relook on the issue of Mandatory Excise Duty on branded
products - and in all fairness rollback this Duty to save our garment industry from the brink of
total devastation. The Government ought to understand that its policies may generate revenues
for their coffers, but they are certainly not conducive to growth of this industry. It must also
realize that unless something is done in the very near future, lakhs of workers (40% of which
are women) will lose their jobs, their livelihood and face extreme difficulties. The question of
their survival will be at stake – in these trying times.
On the other hand, the allowance of duty free import of readymade garments / hosiery products
from Bangladesh has dealt another disastrous blow to the hosiery business of our country. The
Government must understand that the apparel manufacturing industry of Bangladesh is far
more competitive than its Indian counterpart. The Indian apparel industry’s share of growth has
been quite low and can be gauged from the fact that in the last six years (2005-2011), India’s
apparel exports increased from $8.63 bn in 2005-06 to $12.5 bn in 2010-11 against 18% growth
recorded by garment exports from Bangladesh during the same period. Furthermore, their
garment exports increased from $7.9 bn in 2005-06 to $17.92 bn in 2010-11 and are expected
to $25bn as per targets set by them within the next 3 years.
It must also be noted that:
a. Labour cost is one of the chief components of total cost in apparel manufacturing.
Bangladesh’s labour cost is about 1/3rd of wages paid to a garment worker in India.
b. The lower size and scale of Indian garment factory is chiefly due to inflexible labour
policies, which stress upon security than availability of employment.
c. Indian knitting and processing rates are 40% higher than Bangladesh.
In our earlier memorandums, we have pointed out that our industry is wrought
with multiple problems – and with the imposition of both the mandatory excise duty and duty
free imports of readymade garments from Bangladesh, the matter has gone from bad to worse.
The product processing cost has gone up tremendously, but there is scope of increasing the
price of the products due to the possibility of customers shying away from the markets. This has
started to hurt the local industry very badly, while our markets are getting flooded with cheap
Bangladeshi products. Even if we wanted to match them – it would be impossible to do so,
given the limitations.
"YARN” which belongs to the organized sector with only about 1000 mills has been
exempted from the purview of excise duty? Whereas, the garment sector – which is extensively
disorganized / defragmented with lakhs of units have been brought under the excise regime.
If revenue was the primary / only contention of Government, taxing the Yarn industry would
have generated far more revenue than what is being generated through the garment industry.
Unfortunately, this move by the Government has had a retrograde effect and has disturbed the
operations of players in the industry - by upsetting its costs & business opportunities.
Moreover, the removal of 10.3% Excise Duty on branded products is an absolutely
necessity for saving the Indian garment industry whose products are essentially meant of the “Aam Aadmi”.
As such it becomes our moral responsibility to cater to the needs of the common populace, without putting
any financial burden on them
Notwithstanding any other challenges and / or factors, the above two issues are having a
direct / indirect effect on the Indian garment Industry - resulting in scores of workers losing their
jobs and / or are being retrenched due to no fault of theirs. In fact, growth has now become a
secondary matter, given the question of survival for many players in the tiny and small segment
of this industry. It goes without saying that unless corrective measures are taken and at the
earliest, our industry will not be able to survive (leave alone growth) amidst all the challenges
and difficulties.
To explain the matters further and more importantly the gravity of the situation, we
would like to come and meet you for apprising the real situation. And of course your help and
kind intervention would go a long way in finding the right solution, which can provide avenues
for survival and adequate growth of our industry. We would like to reiterate that we are not
averse to tax collections, but it should not come in the way of our survival – our existence.
We look forward to getting an audience from your end at the earliest – and a chance for us to
tell you where we stand for furthering our discussions on the above.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
SAJJAN RAJ MEHTA

Jain Monks and nuns
Jain Monks and nuns
(SADHU AND SADHVI)
When a person renounces the worldly life and all the attachments, and is initiated into monkshood or nunhood, the man is called Sadhu or Muni and the woman is called Sadhvi..Their renunciation is total which means they are completely detached from the social and worldly activities and they do not take any part in those activities anymore. Instead, they spend their time spiritual uplifting their souls and guiding householders such as ourselves how to uplift our souls.
When they get initiated into the life of Sadhus and Sadhvis, they take five major vows and act strictly in accordance with those vows. The five great vows are:
1) Vow of absolute Non-violence.
First vow means sadhu and sadhvis will never cause harm or violence to any living being including even the tiniest creatures.
2) Vow of absolute Truthfulness
Second vow means they will not lie.
3) Vow of absolute Non-stealing
Third vow means without the permission of the owner they will not take anything from anywhere.
4) Vow of absolute Celibacy
Fourth vow means they have to observe the celibacy with an absolute adherence to it. The sadhu or sadhvis should not even touch a member of the opposite sex regardless of their age.
5) Vow of absolute Non-attachment.
Fifth vow means they do not possess anything and do not have any attachment for things they keep for their daily needs.
In summary, while taking these vows, they say, "O Lord Arihant! I will not commit the sins of violence, express falsehood, steal and enjoy sensual pleasures, or be possessive, by speech, thought or deed; nor will I assist or order anyone to commit these sins. I will not approve or endorse anyone committing such sins. Oh Lord! I hereby take a sacred and solemn vow that throughout my life, I will follow these five major vows and strictly follow the code of conduct laid out for a sadhu and a sadhvi."
Therefore, Jain Sadhus and Sadhvis never cause harm or violence to any living being. They live according to the pledge that they do not harm even the tiniest creatures. They always speak the absolute truth. They do not lie on account of fear, desire, anger or deceptive intentions. Without the permission of the owner, they do not take even the smallest thing such as a straw. They observe the vow of celibacy with an absolute adherence to it. They will not touch the members of the opposite sex, even a child. In case the members of the opposite sex either touch them by mistake or in ignorance, they have to undergo the ritual of repentance (Prayashchitta) for self-purification. Jain Sadhus should not keep money with them. They will not own or have any control on any wealth, houses, any such movable or immovable property or organization. They will limit their necessities to the lowest limit and apart from these limits they should not have any attachments.
Some special rules of conduct for sadhus and sadhvis:
The Jain sadhus or sadhvis do not take food or water after the sunset or before sunrise. They wait 48 minutes after the sun-rise before even drinking boiled water. Under any circumstance, they do not eat or drink anything between the hours of sunset and sunrise.
Gochari (Alm): Jain sadhus/sadhvis do not cook their food, do not get it prepared for them, or do not accept any food which was prepared for them. They go to different householders that are Jains or vegetarians and receive a little food from each house. This practice is called Gochari. Just as cows graze the top part of grass moving from place to place, taking a little at one place and a little at another, in the same way Jain Monks and Nuns do not take all the food from one house. They collect it from various houses. The reason Jain Sadhus/sadhvis accept a little food and not all the food from one house is because this way the householders do not have to cook again. The cooking process involves much violence in the form of fire, vegetable chopping, water consumption, etc., and sadhus or sadhvis do not want to be the part of any violence due to their needs. They do not receive food standing outside the house; but they go inside the house where food is cooked or kept. This way they can understand the situation that their accepting food would not make the householders to cook again. They accept food which is within the limit of their vows.
Vihar: They always walk with bare feet. When they travel from one place to another, whatever may be the distance they always go walking. They do not use any vehicle like bullock cart, car, boat, ship or plane for traveling. Whether it is cold weather or scorching sun; whether the road is stony or thorny; whether it is the burning sand of a desert or a burning road, they do not wear any foot-wear at any time. They move about on bare foot all their life. The reason for not wearing shoes is while walking, they can avoid crushing the bugs or insects on the ground. While going places, they preach the religion (Dharma), and provide proper spiritual guidance to people. They do not stay more than a few days in any one place except during the rainy season which is about four months in duration. The sadhus and sadhvis travel after sunrise & before sunset only.. The place where they stay is called Upashray or Paushadh Shala. They may stay in places other than the Upashrayas if those places are suitable to the practice of their disciplined life and if they do not disturb or impede the code of conduct. The reason they do not stay anywhere permanently or for a longer period in one place is to avoid developing attachment for material things and the people around them.
Loch: The Jain Sdhus and Sadhvis after receiving the Diksha (initiation) do not cut their hair or shave their heads; nor do they get these things done by a barber. But twice a year or at least once a year at the time of Paryushan, they pluck off their hairs or they get the hairs plucked by others. This is called Keshlochan or Loch. This way they are not dependent on others to carry out their needs. It is also considered as one kind of austerity where one bares the pain of plucking of the hairs calmly.
Clothing: They always wear un-stitched or minimally stitched white clothes. Some Jain sadhus do not wear the clothes. A loin cloth which reaches up to the shins is called a Cholapattak. Another cloth to cover the upper part of the body is called Pangarani (Uttariya Vastra). A cloth that passes over the left shoulder and covers the body up to a little above the ankle is called a Kmli. Kmli is a woolen shawl. They also carry a woolen bed sheet and a woolen mat to sit on. Those who wear clothes have a muhapati a square or rectangular piece of cloth of a prescribed measurement either in their hand or tied on their face covering the mouth. They also have Ogho or Rajoharan (a broom of woolen threads) to clean insects around their sitting place or while they are walking. Sadhus who do not wear any clothes have morpichhi and kamandal in their hands. These are the articles by which they can be distinguished. This practice may vary among different sects of Jains but essential principle remains the same to limit needs.
They bestow their blessings on all, uttering the words Dharm Labh (may you attain spiritual prosperity). They bless everyone alike irrespective of their caste, creed. sex, age, wealth, poverty, high, or low social status. Some put Vakshep (scented sandal dust) on the heads of people. Monks and nuns show the path of wholesome life and of a righteous and disciplined life to every one through the media of discussions, discourses, seminars and camps to attain spiritual prosperity.
The entire life of sadhus/sadhvis is directed towards the welfare of their souls. All the activities of their life have only one aim, namely, self-purification for self- realization. For the attainment of this objective, besides following laid down guidelines they perform the pratikraman daily, and perform other austerities.
Conferring a title:
The Jain sadhus, after being initiated that is, after receiving the diksha become immersed in such activities as meditation, seeking knowledge, acquiring self-discipline etc. Proceeding on the path of spiritual endeavor, when they reach a higher level of attainment, their spiritual elders, for the preservation of the four-fold Jain Sangh, confer upon them some special titles.
The Title of Acharya: This title is considered to be very high and involves a great responsibility. The entire responsibility of the Jain Sangh rests on the shoulders of the acharya. Before attaining this title, one has to make an in-depth study and a thorough exploration of the Jain Agams and attain mastery of them. One must also study the various languages of the surrounding territory and have acquired a through knowledge of all the philosophies of the world related to different ideologies and religions.
The Title of Upadhyay: This title is given to a sadhu who teaches all the sadhus and sadhvis, and has acquired a specialized knowledge of the Agams (Scriptures).
The Title of Panyas and Gani: To secure this title, one should have acquired an in-depth knowledge of all the Jain agams. To attain the status of Ganipad one should have a knowledge of the Bhagawati Sutra and to attain the Panyas-pad one should have attained a comprehensive knowledge of all the aspects of the agams.
The Jain sadhus, on account of the mode of their life, are unique among all the monks. The entire life of Sadhus and Sadhvis is dedicated to spiritual welfare of their souls; all their objectives, and all their activities are directed towards elevating their souls to the Paramatma-dasha, the state of the Supreme Soul.
Above discription is related to Svetambar Monks..
Who is a Jain?
The devotee of vishnu is called a Vaishnav; the devotee of Shiva is called a Shaiva; the follower of the Buddha is called a Buddhist: the follower of Christ is called a Christain. In the same manner, the follower of Jineshwer is known as a Jain. Hence, this dharma has become current, established and reowned under the name of the Jain dharma. One who follows the path shown by Jineshwer is a Jain.
Such a man is a Jain to whatever nation he may belong; to whatever sect or creed he may belong; in whatever philosophical context he might have been born or brought up. The Jain dharma is not a religious sect or creed. Anyone can adore and follow this dharma irrespective of his caste and creed. This living dharma is meant for all.
Fasting is very common among Jains and as a part of Jain festivals. Most Jains fast at special times, during festivals, and on holy days.Paryushan is the most prominent festival, lasting eight days in Svetambara Jain tradition and ten days in Digambar Jain tradition during themonsoon. The monsoon is a time of fasting. However, a Jain may fast at any time, especially if he or she feels some error has been committed. Variations in fasts encourage Jains to do whatever they can to maintain whatever self control is possible for the individual
Purpose of fasting
Monks, nuns and laity fast as penance and to control desires. Jains believe fasting purifies the body and the mind, reminding one of Mahavir's emphasis on renunciation and asceticism. Mahavir spent months fasting and in contemplation. It is not sufficient simply to stop eating when fasting; the person must also stop wanting to eat. Control over one's mind is a major goal. If one continues to desire food, the fast is fruitless..
Why is fasting essential ?
The body experiences weakness by fasting and hunger but that weakness is not caused by the absence of food but because the unclean stuff is cast off. After the body is purified strength returns to the body. It acquires freshness and agility. In this, there is no wonder. After the foreign, unwanted substances are removed from the body, health naturally appears in it.
Normally, in the body heat is always being produced. hence, there is always a certain degree of heat in the body. In the Jainterminolgy, this process may be given the, Taijas Sharir or Taijas Namkarma. To keep this process of the production of heat continuing, fuel is necessary. Most of the fuel is obtained from the carbohydrates and fats in our food. But during the period of Upavas fasting when the consumption of food has been stopped, the remaining oart of the food gets urnt and assimilated. Hence, during Upavas (fasing period) the fats soon decreases; and like fats the strength of the liver, the spleen and muscless also gets reduced but the brain never grows weak and never sustains even the slightest loss; so we get sound sleep. The thoughts become wholesome and pure. In the begining, the foul stuff found in the body may appear on the tongue; may come out in form of spittle; may cause giddiness etc., but gradually, everything gets all right.
Upavas is useful in getting rid of such diseases as fever, smallpox, measles, asthma, blood pressure, eczema etc. By means of Upavas the children of a doctor in America by name, Edward David, were saved from the dreadful disease of Diphtheria. In his book, The Non-breakfast plan and Fasting Cure, the doctor has written that during illness, it is far better to fast than to take fod or medicines because by that means, health can be soon recovered.
We are all human beings and as human beings the problems, humanity is facing today are our own.As a matter of fact,we ourselves are responsible for their consequences also.It is our earnest duty to ponder over their roots and causes, to suggest their solutions and to make their eradiction..Today we are celebrating SAMVATSARI, and each and every Jain according to his capacity does something towards fasting, swadhyay, samayik, jain readings & pratikraman..By pratikraman he or she asks or begs pardon for the carelessness in his or her movements and for the violence he or she caused to any creature, knowing pretty well that the fruit of non-violence is happiness and well being and that of violence is pain, grief and misery..
Fasting from one fast to 3,8.30& more fasting have been done by many..If you feel like meeting any jain saint ,you can meet or contact who have done fasting for their welfare of inner soul..

Industry for lifting excise duty on garments
Umesh M Avvannavar, Jan 24, 2012, DH News Service
The imposition of 10 per cent excise duty on branded products by the Centre, the textile industry, of which hosiery and readymade garments is an integral part, has been dealt with body blow.
In a letter to Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Karnataka Hosiery &Garment Association and Taxation Committee Chairman Sajjan Raj Mehta has sought its withdrawal.
Earlier, the levy was 4 per cent and optional for garment makers who wanted to get refund under Centvat scheme. Since most did not register to claim Centvat, the duty was virtually zero. Now all branded garment makers pay 10 per cent duty on 60 per cent of MRP.
Large job provider
Being second largest job provider, the sector employs nearly 2.5 crore people in India with 40 per cent women. Shutting down small manufacturing units will result in mass unemployment. The domestic industry is worth Rs 40,000 crore made up of contributions from small-scale units scattered all over the country. Nearly 75-80 per cent of the industry still operates in the unorganised sector.
Texport Syndicate India Ltd, CEO & Director, Avinash Misar said on one hand, the government has opened up garment imports at zero import duty from Bangladesh which makes the Indian market highly competitive & price sensitive as Bangladesh products are inexpensive primarily due to low cost of operations in their country. On the other, it slaps excise duty making domestic garment industry products expensive and uncompetitive by 10 per cent.
Gokaldas Exports Limited Chief Mentor Rajendra J Hinduja said for garment exporters, the duty will create problems because even though exports are exempted from excise duty, all units will have to maintain detailed records, paper work will increase and man power cost will go up.
With severe competition from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, China, Vietnam, the industry with 10,000 garment factories work on wafer thin margins. The levy will add to our headache, Hinduja added.
According to Arvind Brands Vice President & Business Head Alok Dubey said the excise duty has come at a time when cotton and yarn prices have gone up by 100 per cent. As small units account for 85 per cent of production, they will have to bear the burden.

According to Arvind Brands Vice President & Business Head Alok Dubey said the excise duty has come at a time when cotton and yarn prices have gone up by 100 per cent. As small units account for 85 per cent of production, they will have to bear the burden.

Request for withdrawal of excise duty on Branded Hosiery, Garments & Made Ups
TO,
THE HON'BLE UNION FINANCE MINISTER,
GOV'T OF INDIA,
LOKSABHA,
DELHI..
Sub: Request for withdrawal of excise duty on Branded Hosiery, Garments & Made Ups
Respected Sir,
We take this opportunity to congratulate the UPA Government for providing us the stable Governance..Your focus on inclusive growth coupled with a plethora of welfare measures, incentive schemes and other benefits will go a long way in shoring up the development in the rural and semi urban areas of our country. We also appreciate the foresight with which the Government has
planned for the training of 30 lakhs of people in Textile and Garment sector, allocating funds for support of Handloom and Powerloom Sectors etc.
While the above have brought good cheer, the Textile Industry of which Hosiery and Readymade is an
integral part has been dealt a severe blow with the imposition of 10% excise duty on branded products last year.
We pray to you to urgently examine the matter and take up our request for removal of mandatory
excise duty on readymade garments.
We would like to highlight the various reasons why we are making this earnest request to you for
immediate roll back of excise duty on readymade garments:
The domestic industry is worth nearly Rs.40,000 crores, however this aggregate is made up of
contributions from various small-scale units scattered all over the country. Nearly 75% to 80% of the
industry still operates in the unorganised sector. In most of these set-ups one man handles all the
manufacturing and financial operations unlike the few big companies that have systems and separate
departments to handle the logistics of the business. It is pertinent to highlight that in 2004, the then
Honourable Finance Minister, Shri Chidambaram has clearly stated that the fragmented and
decentralised nature of the industry as one of the main reasons for removal of mandatory excise.
The industry operates through a network of job workers in an unorganised manner. For one
product, cutting, stitching and packing/finishing operations are done by separate units. Most of the
large brands in India manufacture under this system. Imposition of excise duty has exposed all these
small job working units operating for brands (no exemptions available for units manufacturing for an
outside brand) to inspector raj and paper work to meet the excise laws.
The common man's clothing need has been impacted by high inflationary trends in the last 2-3 years.. The whole country is facing difficulty in coping with severe food inflation, however its pertinent to know that "cloth" need of common man is under more inflation than "bread". A simple vest has seen 50% inflation, while a normal shirt has seen 30-40% inflation. In such a scenario, "common-man" was looking towards the Govt for relief. However with this one move, 10-15% inflation has been further imposed on us. This tantamounts to robbing an Indian the right of affordable clothing.
The apparel industry is the second largest employer after the agriculture industry giving employment to nearly 2.5 crore people all over the country and about 40% of the labour involved in garments are women. The slightest change in the employment dynamics or shut down of the small manufacturing units will result in mass unemployment. We would like to stress here that the apparel industry is one of the largest employers of women in the country. In the event of units closing down,
many women stand to lose their means of livelihood.
This has come at a time when our industry / trade is reeling under the pressure of high input costs
(Cotton Yarn, Elastic, Sewing thread, Labour, Packaging Material etc) and reduced domestic demand
due to rising prices of products.Cotton yarn prices have increased by over 100% in past years.
With excise, the economic burden on the manufacturers has multiplied and they are being forced
to transfer the cost on to the consumers, which has resulted in the increase in MRP. It is common
knowledge that Indian consumer is highly price sensitive, and this has directly impacted consumption.
As a result there is a big negative impact on the industry/trade leading to a slow down in growth
and render many out of business.
In the year 2003, the then Finance Minister Shri Jaswant Singh declared excise duty on finished
garments. Back then, in 2003, Smt. Sonia Gandhi, the Congress leader had supported the Garment
Industry and had appealed to the Government in power to re-examine the same. Today, nine years
hence not much has changed in the industry structure but the party that opposed the imposition of
excise on finished garments has levied it last year when the industry was in no state to bear the added burden.
Contrary to general perception, the term Branded Garments is not the exclusive domain of the elite
or the rich. Every garment, irrespective of the price it is retailed at has a label, a name or a symbol to
differentiate the product of a particular manufacturer from another. Thus, when one says ‘excise on
branded garments’, it translates to excise on the entire industry and shall be applicable to the entire
population – the rich, the middle class and the poor. In other words, the common man shall be as badly
affected as the elite.
It is ironical that in the textile value chain, excise has been levied on garments, but not on yarn and
fabrics, where it is has been kept as optional. Why the most unorganised segment of the textile chain
has been meted out this harsh treatment is beyond understanding.
While the domestic manufacturers have been levied with a 10% excise duty, the global names
retailing in India do not have to bear any such additional burden. This has resulted in a relative
advantage for imported products as the Indian products keep becoming more and more expensive. This
problem will be more severe in case of SAARC countries where duty free access has been granted. This
has led to domestic brands getting uncompetitive against imports from these countries especially
the likes of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, etc. and eventually result in de-growth of the Indian industry.
The budget has kept the exports sector out of the excise net, however it has failed to realise that more
and more exporters are diversifying into the domestic market in view of the current global recession.
With single companies dealing in both domestic and export markets, it is going to become increasingly
cumbersome and tiresome to distinguish the goods under the export and domestic consignments
adding to the cost, time and energy spent by the manufacturer.
With the GST likely to roll out shortly, we fail to understand the logic of making the industry
go through the travails of excise regime. There are hundreds of items still outside the realm of excise, and the garment industry could well be one of those till such time GST is introduced.
For the above-mentioned reasons, we implore you to roll back the 10% excise on finished garments. The
textile industry is trying to get back on its feet after suffering a major setback due to escalating prices of
cotton. Levying the excise has not only resulted in greater torment for the industry members and has given
rise to mass unemployment. It is also feared among the industry associates that this excise has
given rise to increase in corruption & most important it has added fuel to the already flaring inflation fire.
It is our humble request on behalf of the entire textile industry of the country that you reconsider and
roll back the excise duty on finished garments at the earliest to safeguard us..
Thanking you in anticipation.
With respectful regards,
Yours truly,
SAJJAN RAJ MEHTA
